Tame Pair of Hyacinth Macaw Parrot - $1,500 | | We have been debating for several months now whether or not to sell our pair of Hyacinths. We bought them several years ago, with the help of a broker - shipped from Florida. When we first purchased them, we decided to spend the money and purchased a Cages by Design cage, which did not withstand the destructive nature of these macaws. Originally, they were purchased as a breeding pair, but with their social personalities, later became pets. They never produced a fertile egg, although the hen does lay eggs. However, I will not sell them to anyone who will plan to breed them at any point in time, but attempt i can s separate them in any way. Farley and Maxine are both friendly birds, and are for the experienced macaw handler, due to the fact that they have diet restrictions as well as personality differences from being handfed pets vs. breeding pairs.
